Although over 10% of the graves are missing dates, the oldest recorded grave is from 1905. At the time of this waymark posting FindAGrave recorded the latest burial as from the same year of this posting. My wife and I noticed an inordinately high percentage of child and infant graves at this cemetery. Mysterious and sad. And they were not from the 19th century (the cemetery is not that old), but from the 20th and 21st centuries.
There is no sign at this cemetery, but the topographic maps and FindAGrave record it as Scott Cemetery. But perhaps it is better to have no sign at all, rather than a comical one; such as at this other Scott "Cementery" in Arkansas.
