Leavenworth Academy Fallout Shelter - Civil Defense Fallout Shelters on Waymarking.com

This fallout shelter is located in the Leavenworth School in downtown Wolcott, N.Y.. This school is still in use and was built almost 100 years ago. The building and its parking lots and fields covers almost a whole block of the downtown area. The sign, like so many others, no longer lists the capacity of the shelter. I was here after dark to document this shelter, so I was unable to get a picture of the building itself, so I will do that the next time I am there and add it to the page then.
