Zur Erinnerung an die im 1. Weltkrieg Gefallenen des Husaren-Regiments "König Humbert von Italien" (1. Kurhessisches) Nr. 13 wurde am 14. Juni 1925 das von dem Bildhauer Carl Hochscheidt geschaffene und in expressionistischer Formensprache gestaltete, "Husaren-Denkmal" eingeweiht. Das Denkmal, aus hellem Muschelkalk, besteht aus einem quadratischen Schaft, der aus einem Sockel mit dem Grundriß des Eisernen Kreuzes senkrecht emporragt.

In memory of the fallen in WW I of the Husaren-Regiment "König Humbert von Italien" (1. Kurhessisches) Nr. 13 the "Husaren-Denkmal", created and designed by the sculptor Carl Hochscheidt in an expressionist form language, was inaugurated on June 14th, 1925. The monument, made of light limestone, consists of a square shaft, which rises vertically from a base with the form of the Iron Cross.
