This section corner is located in the Oregon Badlands Wilderness Area about 1.3 miles west of the Larry Chitwood Trailhead at the end of Obernolte Road. The pipe cap was set by the Bureau of Land Management in 1998. The cap is marked T 18 S, R 13 & 14 E, S12, S7, S18, S13. There is a fence corner a few feet to the SE and four bearing trees nearby.
