On the Summerland War Memorial are 39 names from World War I and 25 names from World War II. Below the names and above a plaque honouring "Our Summerland Boys" is a bronze plaque honouring all those veterans of the Korean War.
The stepped stone memorial stands about 9 feet in height and has black granite plaques on one face as well as the bronze Korean War plaque.
We honour all our Veterans who served during WWI, WWII and the Korean War.
Memorial Park is an urban park in downtown Summerland where many festivals and events take place. There are large grassy areas, mature shade trees, picnic tables, washrooms, playground, benches and the Kinsman Theatre. Also within the park is the Summerland Horseshoe Club with about 16 pits.
