The stepped stone memorial stands about 9 feet in height and has black granite plaques on one face as well a bronze Korean War plaque.

Memorial Park is an urban park in downtown Summerland where many festivals and events take place. There are large grassy areas, mature shade trees, picnic tables, washrooms, playground, benches and the Kinsman Theatre. Also within the park is the Summerland Horseshoe Club with about 16 pits. There is a large mural of yellow daisies on their club house.
