Two historic lamp posts and a historical marker about them are located at the old Post Office in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

The historical marker is located on the concrete base for one of the lamps and reads:

"Cast iron lamp posts originally flanked the south and west entrances to the Post Office building. The lamp posts represent the first standardized type approved for Federal buildings. Removed in the early 1950s, only these two survived. They were restored and reinstalled in 1998 by the Amelia Island Fernandina Restoration Foundation.
