From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 5.0 miles to the junction with FR2059. Turn right and continue, first generally NNE then ESE, for 1.0 mile on FR2059 to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" iron pipe in mound of stones; brass cap sheared off, probably collateral damage by heavy equipment

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is SSW, about 480' from the centerline of FR2059. Found three of the bearing trees established by Jelley. McClung in 1870, a ponderosa pine, now 44" in diameter.

Deschutes National Forest; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Remonumentation of Certain Original Corner Points, Township 14 South, Range 9 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed August 12, 1966
