A newer brick gateway greets visitors to the south part of Oregon State University. There is a bronze plaque located on the gateway that notes it as being a gift from the OSU Class of 1960, the 'last great class to graduate from Oregon State College'. The reason this plaque mentions this superlative is because in 1961, the campus changed its name to Oregon State University and has remained that name since that time.
Year built or dedicated as indicated on the structure or plaque: June 5, 2010
