This relief has two panels...the first depicts Josephine Mary and the infant Jesus held by a Rabbi and an assistant in the background. The engraving reads:
"SORROW. Joseph sorrowfully witnesses the circumcision of our Lord"

the second panel depicts the same figures moments later and has the following engraving:

"JOY. His delight when the holy name of Jesus is given to the infant."
