This is a country cemetery sitting on top of a hill overlooking a crossroads. There are several very old headstones here, along with many unmarked graves and graves with only funeral markers to designate their final resting place. There are a few small wooden crosses marking a grave and many hand carved headstones. The 1933 beside the Moriah name is very misleading since there are many graves from the 1800's, the oldest marked readable one having a death date of 1853. Possibly the 1933 is when the cemetery was "formally" formed or took on the name of Moriah.
