This station houses the county emergency response crews for Richmond County. All members of the team are paramedic level certification. The station is located across the street from Emergency Department of Richmond Memorial Hospital. Their reponsibilty includes local response to calls for aid but transfers to the Regional Med Center in Pinehurst, NC. Some patients are transfered directly to the Regional Med Center for such illness as Myocardial Infarction and Acute CVA.
