SANDSTEIN - 90 cm hoch - 68 cm breit und 25 cm dick

Steinkreuze sind die Zeugen aus vergangener Zeit. Sind es Wegweiser oder Mahnmale für begangene Untaten wie Mord oder Totschlag ?

SAGE: Ein Spitzenhändler aus Mitweida soll hier am 4.Mai 1687 von seinen Reisegefährten erschossen worden sein. Der Händler hieß Johann Friedrich Heinlein oder auch Händel. Er wurde im Alter von 39 Jahren wahrscheinlich auf dem Friedhof in Gefress begraben.

Ein Ratsbürger von Berneck soll die Tat entdeckt haben. (Sterberegister von Gefrees).

SAGE : A top retailers from Mitweida said to have been shot dead on 4 May 1687 by his traveling companions here . The dealer called Johann Friedrich Heinlein or Handel . He was probably buried at the age of 39 years at the cemetery in Gefress .
