"In the Heart of Downtown Elmira is Wisner Park. On both sides of Main Street, Wisner Park is as American as apple pie. With memorials to the veterans of World War I, World War II, the Vietnam War, and to Fallen Officers, Wisner Park is a place to reminisce about the old times, good and bad. Wisner Park also features several statues throughout the park. Come and sit on the benches for a while, or grab some lunch in Langdon Plaza and watch the squirrels play by your picnic table. Wisner Park is also the best place to be on Thursdays during the summer because Elmira's own Farmer's Market, called Wisner Market, is shaking up the park. Sponsored by Elmira Downtown Development, Wisner Market features over 30 vendors selling food, crafts, and homemade goods. Wisner Park is also the host of several other special events throughout the year." ( visit link) Wisner Market ( visit link) Wisner Park Cemetery
