Rawley Point Light House can be viewed from Point Beach. The lighthouse property is controlled by the Coast Guard (Homeland Security).

The tower rises 113 feet above the beach and is visible for 19 miles and operates 1/2 hour before sunset and after sunrise. Over 20 ship wrecks occurred before it was built.
