Located in front of Kearney Hall (formerly known as the Mechanical Hall) is a concrete bench which contains a plaque that reads:

In memory of
Abraham A. Osipovich

1927 Engineering graduate with high honors.
Constructed the Tau Beta Pi survey benchmark.
As chief of transmission design at the BPA, was internationally recognized
as a leader in the development of high voltage power transmission.
