Large hatchery located on SR 46 about three miles NE of Rome. The hatchery, opened in 1940, produces over 1 million brown and brook trout eggs yearly.

There are self guided tours available, as well as staff-led talks. Inquire at the well-appointed Visitor Center.

The hatchery is open daily from 9 AM to 3:45 PM. Admission is free, with ample on-site parking.
