Polished black granite bench located in a small park in front of the Rome Police Department in downtown Rome, NY. The bench is dedicated to Shawn Kessler and Stephanie Morrison, victims of domestic violence, who were killed by a jealous ex-suitor on 4 June, 2013. She was 22, he was 31. Their killer was sentenced to 40 years with no parole.
The bench, in memory of the pair, also displays "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - give it a rest" prominently.
