The white painted Art-Deco Swan Hill Town Hall was designed by A.C.Leith and is located at 53 McCullum Street,in the centre of town. It was opened in 1935, on the site of the original Shire Hall and Council Chamber built in 1897, with a grand ball . In recent years the Town Hall has been the venue for weddings, balls, community celebrations, youth theatre festivals, travelling theatre performances and concerts.
In 1995 the City of Swan Hill was absorbed into Swan Hill Rural City Council and the building became the Performing Arts and Conference Centre,
