The northernmost sidewalk entrance to Marist College contains this handsome polychrome stone gateway arch. Originally founded as a seminary for the training of Marist Brothers, in 1929 the property was accredited as a liberal arts college. The arch has a south tower which features a stone carving of the college mascot, a red fox. Over the arch are 10 medallion stone carvings featuring various unidentified people created by Chris Pellettieri.
