The Swan Hill Boer War Memorial is of black marble erected to commemorate the centenary of the 1899 - 1902 wars. The names of those from Swan Hill are on one side of the memorial and on the other is a list of servicemen from the district, most of whom enlisted in the "Australian Commonwealth Horse" a forerunner of the Australian Light Horse
