Iva M. Findley is interred in Kaleden Cemetery located just off Oak Avenue turning north about 200 metres on Linden Avenue. It is only about 2.5 km south from the Community Hall in downtown Kaleden.

Iva M. Findley was born in 1896 and passed away in 1998 at the age of 102. Iva M. Findley and her husband Judson V. Findlay age 101 are buried together. This is the first time we found a husband and wife who lived to be over 100.

During Iva M. Findley’s lifetime some of the events that took place were; in 1896, Gold was discovered in the Klondike, 1907, Canada Dry Ginger Ale is first bottled, 1908, Anne of Green Gables was published by author Lucy Maud Montgomery, 1917 , Women won right to vote, 1929, Women are considered "Persons" under Canadian law, 1934, the birth of the Dionne quintuplets, 1980, Terry Fox began cross-country Marathon of Hope 1965, Maple Leaf becomes official flag of Canada, and in 1980, O' Canada officially becomes the national anthem of Canada.

Kaleden Cemetery is within the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen. The cemetery is about an acre in size that gently slopes downward towards Skaha Lake.

The Kaleden Cemetery is very rustic with native grasses and lots of low growing prickly pear cactus and pine cones. The cemetery was established in the early 1900s as the oldest known burial was Bessie M. Robinson who was born in 1873 and passed away in 1903. There are 173 known burials within the Kaleden Cemetery.
