Pioneer Park offers sandy public beaches bordering Skaha Lake. You can float raft on the lake and there are also tennis courts, BBQ areas, basketball courts, children's playground and enjoy a picnic under large trees. Public washrooms are also available. There is an easy access from the park to the Kettle Valley walking and biking trail.
Though it was November when we visited Pioneer Park, it was surprisingly busy with many walkers on the pathways.
We located several dedicated benches along the walking paths.
