Eileen Hardwicke is interred within the Westbank Cemetery. The cemetery is located at 3200 Elliot Road. Approximately 500 metres NW of Reese Road. It is on the left just at the bend in the road. Go slow or you will miss it. There is a sign.

Eileen Hardwicke was born on October 20, 1911 and passed away on December 28, 2011 at the age of 100.

During her lifetime women earned the right to vote, in 1929 Women are considered "Persons" under Canadian law, WW I, WW II and the Korean War were declared. In 1934 the birth of the Dionne quintuplets attracts international media attention and more recently in 1999 The Mars Polar Lander was launched and in 2010 the Winter Olympic Games were held in Vancouver, British Columbia.
