Start from the Pole Creek Trailhead which is generally SW, 12.2 miles by road from the Sisters Ranger Station. Travel generally NNE for about 0.7 miles on FR15 to the corner on the left, NW about 40' from the centerline of the road.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe in a collar of stones; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post which bears N, 3' distant. Found four trees with scribed blazes. Three are standing, but the nearest one has been felled. The standing trees have yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the reverse sides. Two of these have a 1-1/2" brass washer, stamped PLS 2396, affixed to the side center at the root crown with a magnetic nail. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears S89.5°W from WAYMARK WMPYQK, 2671' distant.
