Start from the Pole Creek Trailhead which is generally SW, 12.2 miles by road from the Sisters Ranger Station. From the east end of the parking lot, hike first on FR1526-200, then bear left on -100 and turn right on -155 a total of 1.3 miles to the corner on the right, S about 470' distant.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on steel pipe in a collar of stones; rising 5"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post which bears N, 3' distant. Found four burned snags with scribed blazes, three with yellow BEARING TREE tags. Each of the trees has a 1-1/2" brass washer, stamped PLS 2396, affixed to the side center at the root crown with a magnetic nail. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present section corner bears N89.5°E from WAYMARK WMPR13, 5259' distant.
