A church-themed birdhouse stands in a small park near the center of Van, TX, on the north side of W Main Street (TX 16), just west of its intersection with N Maple Street (TX 110).

One wonders if this birdhouse once belonged to the nearby Methodist or Baptist churches, given that they both have newer buildings, and the decor of this birdhouse is a little more "old, country church." The house is in the shape of an old church, with an interesting steeple and wooden roof, primarily white with blue-gray trim. It could use some maintenance, as the four front columns are wobbly, and the paint is beginning to wear. There are six entrances to the house, forming the church's side windows, and there is trim underneath them, allowing the inhabitants to perch. There is a door at the back, hinged to allow cleaning.
The house is definitely occupied, but nobody was home at the time of this waymark's creation.
