The Kerang Memorial Municipal Chambers has a foundation strone on either side of the ornate entrance as well as two plaques giving the names of the locals who fell during WW1

TO COMMEMORATE THE OPENING OF THESE MEMORIAL MUNICIPAL CHAMBERS 25TH MARCH 1927 THIS STONE WAS LAID, AND MEMORIAL TABLETS UNVEILED BY HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR OF VICTORIA BARON SOMERS K.C.M.G. D.S.O. M.C. 26th MARCH 1927 "LEST WE FORGET"
