Nixdorf Classic Cars advertises themselves as being both a vintage car museum and a dealership. That seems a pretty accurate description as we saw possibly 30 out of the collection of 100 that were for sale. The showroom is capable of housing about 70 vehicles, while shops out back house the remainder of the collection.

Congenital collectors, the owners are always on the hunt for additions to the collection, selling what they consider less desirable vehicles to make room for the new acquisitions. The front window holds advertisements for a couple of dozen vehicles while, in the showroom, one will find several "For Sale" signs.

Every one of the vehicles in the collection is either completely restored or in excellent original condition. Our guess is that, at the right price, every vehicle in the collection can be bought, "For Sale" sign or not. They also rent vehicles for special occasions:
Choose a Classic Car in Mint Condition for Weddings, Graduation, Anniversaries, Reunions, Birthdays and more! We welcome you to come into our showroom and pick out that “classy” vehicle to help enhance your special occasion..

The collection presently holds vehicles from 1936 to 1970, with a large "Muscle Car" section. Of the vehicles that are presently for sale, I'd have to say that my favourite is the '58 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Convertible. That car is absolutely immense. Our car (a Nissan Versa) could almost fit in its trunk!. When taking photos I couldn't get back far enough from it to get the entire car in the frame.

To view the collection (some with photos, most without), complete with background for each vehicle, START HERE. Seventy two of the vehicles in the collection are highlighted over nine pages.

Why A Vintage Showroom?
The concept of a vintage classic car showroom was due to numerous requests Garney received from car enthusiasts from all over the country. Many hearing through the grapevine of the unique collection with 25 of his favourites housed on his 10 acre property and the remainder stored in various buildings in Summerland. Garnet and Tim decided to demolish an existing building and construct a 9500 square foot structure to hold over 30 classic vehicles which are to be rotated with the remaining collection on a regular basis.

Our newly expanded facility of over 50 vehicles including a Muscle Car section. Each car has a write-up providing information on the background and condition of the car when it was purchased. There are also a number of humorous comments from the collector. With an inventory of over 80 cars completely restored, the cars are periodically rotated. There is something here for everyone. We have T-shirts, snack bar and artifacts that will provide a bit of nostalgia for everyone.
