Der Mühlstein befindet sich an der Eselsmühle, Eselsberg, 88239 Wangen.
Das Gebäude wird erstmals 1436 als Stadtmühle erwähnt.
Diese wurde 1554 vom Spital erworben und 1568 neu erbaut.
Seit 1592 ist der Name Eselsmühle belegt.
Der Mahlbetrieb wurde 1937 eingestellt.
Seit 1969 im Besutz der Stadt Wangen welche das Gebäude als Heimatmuseum nutzt

This was in 1554 purchased by the hospital and in 1568 rebuilt.
Since 1592 the name is Eselmühle occupied.
