Die evangelisch-lutherische Kirche St. Marien in Zwickau, regional seit offizieller Verleihung dieses Titels 1935 auch als „Zwickauer Dom“ bekannt, liegt im Zentrum der Stadt und ist deren wichtigstes sakrales Baudenkmal. Das Gebäude entstand um 1180 ursprünglich als romanische Saalkirche, wurde aber zwischen 1453 und 1563 zur dreischiffigen Hallenkirche im spätgotischen Stil umgebaut. Der das Stadtbild prägende Kirchenturm (87 m) ist jedoch ein barocker Glockenturm aus dem Jahr 1672, der den durch Blitzschlag beschädigten ursprünglichen Turmaufsatz ersetzte. Die Kirche war ab 1501 Wirkungsstätte Hieronymus Dungersheims, im Jahr 1520 predigte hier Thomas Müntzer. Gegenüber dem Hauptportal liegen die Priesterhäuser, welche die vermutlich ältesten erhaltenen städtischen Wohnbauten Ostdeutschlands sind.
