The name of the cemetery is Cemitério da Boa Esperança (Cemetery of Good Hope). The area of the cemetery is sectioned off with a low stone wall and attached chain on three sides. It has room for about 20 graves.
Behind this area is a wall with niches for an ossuary. This wall is in two sections separated by a metal shield with the coat of arms with the Faro Community coat of arms. Behind the arms are two crossed fire axes.
In front of the area is a stone inscribed as follows...

Although this stone has a date of 1945 the section of the cemetery is still used.
