EN: Above the cliff at the western edge of Naters is a large white cross. In 2013 a new hiking trail was created which leads from the Guards Museum along the mountain and then down to Naters. From the place behind the cross, there is a magnificent view of Naters and the Rhone Valley. In the foreground the old village center with the church and the famous ossuary, closer to the Rhone the newer quarters, and behind Brig on the other side of the river.
DE: Über der Felswand am Westrand von Naters steht ein grosses weisses Kreuz. 2013 wurde ein neuer Wanderweg erstellt, der vom Gardemuseum entlang des Bergs und dann hinunter nach Naters führt. Von der Stelle hinter dem Kreuz hat man einen grossartigen Ausblick über Naters und das Rhonetal. Vorne der alte Dorfkern mit der Kirche und dem bekannten Beinhaus, näher gegen die Rhone die neueren Quartiere und dahinter Brig auf der anderen Seite des Flusses.
