Edmond Community Time Capsule - Edmond, OK - Time Capsules on Waymarking.com

The Public Safety Center was dedicated on October 29, 2015 at a ceremony honoring its occupants, the Edmond Police Department, the 911 Dispatch, and the Emergency Management Center. This is a three story building, with an underground level housing the jail and emergency operations.

Located in the three-story atrium lobby, this time capsule sits on a low recessed bench, rather than being buried below ground. A few feet away, cast in bronze, stands Sherlock Holmes, keeping close watch of the capsule.

Once the building is fully occupied (shortly), the lobby will be open to the public during regular office hours. It can be seen from outside, through the glass doors.
