Recently restored, this painted sundial is on the south side of the tower of St Peter's Church, the church being given Grade I listed status in 1966.

The chapter ring and arched top are in a dull red, whilst the dial plate is painted in white, with black furniture.
Along the top is the date 1824.
It has upright numerals in gold with hour lines to semicircle around the gnomon root, half hour lines with fleur-de-lys on their inner ends, and short quarter hour lines.
