From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally W, first on US20 then ORE242, for 1.6 miles to the junction with FR15. Turn left and continue 5.3 miles to the junction with FR1514. Turn left and continue for 1.6 miles to the corner on the left, E about 125' from the centerline of the road.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on galvanized iron pipe in a hollow mound of stones; flush with ground level
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: There is a LOCATION POSTER on the opposite side of FR1514. Found two trees each with a healed blaze and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside. The yellow BEARING TREE tags had burned and are on the ground. In addition, there is a half-burned, orange Carsonite witness post with a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal.
