This outlet is built over the site of the 'old' Mayo Hospital, before the new hospital building was built at Kolodong.
One reason that it is so popular is that the two "Taree' McDonalds outlets are several kilometres away (one at Chatham, and the other at the service centre) also their food is good, anyway.
