Due to the cathedral bells at the top of the tower the view of the city of Faro is a bit restricted.
However there is a great view out to the coast and Faro airport. The tower is also very close to the airport flight path and so gives a great platform to see the planes taking off and landing.
There is a 3 Euro entrance fee to get into the cathedral including the tower.
Opening times are
Winter: Monday to Friday: 10: 00h to 17: 00h
Saturday from 09: 30h to 13: 00h.
Summer: Monday to Friday: 10: 00h to 18: 00h
Saturday from 09: 30h to 13: 00.
Closed on Sunday.
Cost to Operate: 50 cents
Primary Vista: The local coastal features including Faro airport.
