This magnificent turn of the century building was constructed in 1908, the same year as the great fire. The building has seen numerous tenants during it's life, most notably as the Post Office for the City of Fernie.
The Fernie Post Office relocated to a new, smaller building in 1974, directly across the street from this building.
Today this building is used as the local public library.
