Praporcík Alfons LAKOTA
Narodil se 30. 10. 1921 v Techove a pracoval jako delník u ruzných firem. Za okupace byl pro odbojovou cinnost veznen v tábore nucených prací nedaleko Vídne. Odtud uprchl do Jugoslávie k tamním partyzánum. Padl však do rukou ustašovských cetníku, byl predán gestapu a po krutém mucení poslán do koncentracního tábora v Dachau.
Príslušníkem SNB se stal 4. 9. 1946 a naposledy byl zarazen jako hlídkový príslušník obvodního oddelení Verejné bezpecnosti Blansko.
Dne 29. 10. 1967 v nocních hodinách stíhal praporcík Alfons Lakota dva vojenské zbehy ozbrojené samopaly, kterí v opilství zranili palbou nekolik náhodných chodcu. Aby zabránil ohrožení dalších obcanu, rozhodl se praporcík Lakota k statecnému zákroku, pri nemž byl jedním ze zbehu zastrelen.
Prezident republiky udelil praporcíku Lakotovi za jeho neohroženost, rozhodnost a snahu zachránit další životy vyznamenání „Za statecnost“ in memoriam.

He was born on 30. 10. 1921 in Techov and worked as a laborer for various companies. During the occupation was for resistance activity imprisoned in a forced labor camp near Vienna. From there he fled to Yugoslavia on the local guerillas. But he fell into the hands of Ustasha gendarmes, was handed over to the Gestapo, and after cruel torture sent to the concentration camp at Dachau.
SNB has become 4. 9. 1946 and was last assigned as a patrol member of the District Department of Public Security Blansko.
On 29. 10. 1967 in the night chasing a midshipman Alfons Lakota two military deserters armed with machine guns, who drunkenness wounding several passers-fire. In order to prevent danger to other citizens, he decided to brave ensign Lakota surgery, in which he was one of the deserters shot.
The president gave Ensign Lakota for his fearlessness, determination and efforts to save more lives distinction "For bravery" in memoriam.
on the monument reads:

The monument is located on a dirt road near the village of Petrovice.
