Located in the aisle between the women's/damas and cycle/ciclism departments inside REI, retail chain for outdoor and recreational enthusiasts is a brass control station, custom-made by REI, and embedded flush with the finished floor. The disk contains the elevation stamping of '708.5 FT' above sea level and the date May 1, 1999'. This station doesn't appear in the NGS database. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this station.
