TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE COURTHOUSE IN BEND, GO EAST ON GREENWOOD AVENUE AND HIGHWAY 20 FOR 0.4 MILES, TO THE JUNCTION WITH HIGHWAY 97. TURN LEFT AND GO NORTH ON HIGHWAY 97 FOR 7.2 MILES TO THE JUNCTION WITH DESCHUTES MARKET ROAD. TURN LEFT AND GO WEST ON DESCHUTES MARKET ROAD FOR 0.8 MILES TO THE MONUMENT. STATION IS A STANDARD DESCHUTES COUNTY DISK STAMPED---DL 130 1980---. THE DISK IS SET IN 4 INCH WATER PIPE, FLUSH WITH THE GROUND. THE MONUMENT IS 80 FEET WEST OF VALEVIEW DRIVE, 110 FEET EAST OF POWER POLE NUMBER 273441 AND 6.5 FEET SOUTH OF EDGE OF PAVEMENT.
