The Columbus, Akron & Cleveland (CA&C) Railroad Depot building in Mount Vernon has been restored and updated. The building, located just south of the Kokosing River viaduct on South Main Street, was built in 1907. Originally built for the CA&C Railroad, the depot later became known as the Pennsylvania Station. More recently the building served as the Station Break Senior Citizen Center. The restored depot houses the William A. Stroud Visitor Center for Ariel-Foundation Park.
