Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena has an elaborate display of monuments, flags, illustrations for almost every war that the U.S. has been in.

The illustrations go back to the Revolution, which is not on the pedestals because no Broome County soldiers died, since the County was not settled until after the war. There were veterans who settled here.
The memorial is meant to be all inclusive, all wars.
The memorial is on a corner of the Arena which itself is a Veterans Memorial. "Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena is a 6,925-seat multi-purpose arena in Binghamton, New York. The Arena was previously named the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. "
The new downtown Binghamton University building is across the street.
There is a long list of donors including Binghamton City, Banks and Labor Unions, Veterans groups and individuals.

"Edgar B. Parsons, Jr. 1925-2003 In grateful appreciation to Edgar B. Parsons, Jr. for initiating this memorial. His vision in paying tribute to over 1400 men and women from Broome County. These brave men and women gave their lives as the ultimate sacrifice for their country. "They gave their tomorrows for our todays." November 2005"

Description of Memorial: This is an extension monument with illustrations of several wars and platforms for the plaques listing people who died in each war from Broome County. There are flags of the political subdivisions as well as the military services. There are also pedestals for each of the services.
There is even a monument with no dedication (reserved for the next war?)
