A pair of damaged but still recognizable French naval 12 Pounder cannon. These were from the French naval ship Le Prudent, burned and sunk by the Royal Navy during the siege of Louisbourg on 17 July, 1758.
They sat on the bottom of the ocean until 1899, when they were recovered, and subsequently purchased by the Ontario Government for display.
