This work, entitled "Ljodid um Rokkinn" which translates to "Poem About Spinning" is one of dozens of pieces by Icelandic artist Ásmundur Sveinsson for whom the adjacent Museum is named.
This 1962 work resembles a spinning wheel with a triangular frame - however the spokes of the wheel slant outwards into a conical shape.
