[obituary from an unknown paper, possibly the Fort Worth Star-Telegram]

"D. T. White, aged 52 years, died on Monday evening at the family residence at Polytechnic Heights and the remains were shipped Monday evening by the L. P. Robertson undertaking firm to ranger, where internment will be made Tuesday afternoon."

According to the Death certificate on Find-A-Grave, David Todd White died of apoplexy, secondary to mitral valve heart disease.

The tombstone reads as follows:
