This Eisenhower Green Ash Tree was grown from seeds harvested from a green ash tree at the Dwight D. Eisenhower birthplace in Denison, Texas. These trees are donated to local VFW posts to honor veterans.
This tree is located on the west side of the Garza County courthouse South of the Veterans Memorial. It features a gray granite monument at its base, which reads as follows:

In Memory Of American Veterans
May 26, 2001"
