Josef Bohdanecký - Vedoucí lesního úradu orlického panství a odborný reditel ceské lesnické školy v Písku. Je tvurcem ceské metody probírek lesních porostu, která ve své dobe mela znacný ohlas a vzbudila velkou pozornost zahranicních lesníku. Bohdanecký se snažil prostorovou výchovou porostu již od mládí ve volném zápoji dosáhnout zvýšeného prírustu, zejména v šírce letokruhu. Namísto jejich prumerné šírky 1 mm chtel dosáhnout šírky 3 mm. Proto bývá jeho probírka nazývána trímilimetrová. Hlavní zásady jeho probírkové metody se dnes používají pri výchove mladých smrkových porostu k dosažení jejich ekologické stability. Památník Josefa Bohdaneckého byl postaven na bývalém polesí Jezírko, a to na lesním palouku s výhledem do svitavského údolí. Za památníkem byl vysazen cervený buk, který se nedochoval.
