The sign hangs over the footpath from the front of the pub. It is supported by a metal frame that also holds the light to illuminate the sign at night.

The board is painted black with the name of the pub, "The White Hart", in gold lettering along the bottom edge of the sign. There is some fancy line and scroll work, also in gold, at the top corners of the sign.

The image is framed in a gold cartouche type shape that is topped by a crown. The image shows a, what is best described as, cute white hart that is laid on its stomach in a meadow. It has a pair of antlers that are golden and around the hart's neck is a crown that has a chain leading to the ground.
